WordPress plugin licence (Bylinely Pro, Pennerly Pro)
The GPL code licence and what a paid licence key adds.
This page covers the paid WordPress plugins sold on velosolabs.com: Bylinely Pro and Pennerly Pro (each a "Plugin"). Their free companions, Bylinely and Pennerly, are free software under the same code licence.
The code
The Plugins' code is licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later, like WordPress itself. Nothing on this page restricts your rights under that licence.
What a licence key gives you
- Activation of the Plugin's paid features on one site, updates delivered through WordPress's normal update screen, and support, while the licence is active.
- To use the paid features on another site, deactivate the first (in the Plugin's licence screen or your licence portal) or buy another licence.
Term and renewal
Monthly and yearly licences renew until you cancel, as described in the terms of sale; lifetime licences don't expire. When a licence ends, the paid features switch off and the Plugin keeps your content and settings; the free plugin keeps working.
Licence check
The Plugin checks its licence with velosolabs.com about once a day and keeps a signed copy of the answer. If velosolabs.com can't be reached, the paid features keep working for up to 30 days after the last confirmed answer.
Refunds
Within 14 days of any payment, as in the refund policy.
