Privacy notice
What velosolabs.com and our products keep about you, why, and for how long.
Veloso Labs keeps only what it needs to sell, license, update and support its products. We don't sell personal information, show ads or use tracking cookies.
What we keep
- Purchases: your email, the plan, the amounts and PayPal's transaction references. PayPal processes the payment under its own privacy statement; we never see card or bank details.
- Licences: your licence key, its status and dates, and the sites or Shopify stores (their addresses) it is activated on.
- Licence checks and updates: when an installed product checks its licence or looks for updates it sends the licence key, the site or store address, the product name and version. We keep the address, version and result of the latest check.
- Accounts: if you create an account, your email and a one-way hash of your password.
- Messages: what you send through a contact or support form (name, email, message) and the IP address it came from, to answer it and to stop spam.
- Social posting (Bylinely Pro): if you connect a LinkedIn or Facebook account to post from your site, the access tokens those networks issue, which you can disconnect at any time.
- Security logs: sign-in attempts and the IP address they came from, kept to protect accounts.
Cookies
velosolabs.com sets only the cookies needed to keep you signed in to your account or licence portal.
Where and how long
- Data is stored on our server and in a nightly encrypted backup with Google Cloud (United States), kept for 35 days.
- Purchase and licence records are kept while the licence exists and afterwards for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Other records are kept only while we need them for the purposes above; ask us and we'll delete what we don't have to keep.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information by emailing [email protected]. We'll delete what we don't need to keep by law. If you're not satisfied with our answer you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au) or your local privacy authority.
