Automatic updates, and fixes for the most common problems.
Updates
Bylinely updates itself from velosolabs.com through WordPress's normal background updates. You'll see new versions in Dashboard › Updates like any other plugin, and View details shows what changed.
Common problems
“Generating…” never finishes, or I get an API error
Check the API key for the active engine in Settings › AI engines, and that your account with the provider has credit. Try the default model. If the monthly spend cap is reached, generation stops until next month.
No featured image
Featured images are made with OpenAI. Add and enable an OpenAI key, even if Claude writes the text, and leave Generate featured image ticked.
Scheduled posts arrive late or not at all
WordPress runs schedules only when the site gets a visit. Add a server cron job, as described in Auto-mode. If the Schedule page says Action Scheduler not loaded, reinstall the plugin from the latest zip.
Paid settings are greyed out
They unlock with an active licence. Paid plans are coming soon; see Licence, plans and billing.
A social share failed
Click Test on the connection. Tokens can expire: reconnect with Connect LinkedIn or Connect Facebook. The editor's Social sharing panel shows the error for each destination.
Posts have no author
Set Settings › Content › Default author. Scheduled posts run without a logged-in user and use it.
