VelosoDelivery estimates and the cart
Order-by cut-offs, delivery dates, free shipping bar and cart options.
Delivery estimate
In Theme settings › Delivery estimate set your same-day dispatch cut-off hour, processing days and transit days. The product page then shows the expected delivery dates, for example Tue 14 Oct – Thu 16 Oct, and before the cut-off a countdown such as Order within 3h 20m for same-day dispatch. You can:
- count business days only,
- add non-dispatch dates (public holidays, shutdowns), one per line as
YYYY-MM-DD, - set different transit times per country, for example
NZ,5,9.
The estimate uses your store's time zone, so it is correct for every visitor.
Cart
- Cart type: a slide-out drawer or a full cart page.
- Free shipping progress bar with your threshold.
- Order notes and suggested products from a collection (shown in an empty cart and as upsells).
- Pop-up notification: a third cart type that confirms the item in a small pop-up and keeps the shopper on the page.
- Gift wrapping (Theme settings › Cart › Gift wrap product, off until you pick a product): a tick box in the cart adds or removes your gift-wrap product, with an optional gift message saved on the order.
