Metafields, badges and promotions

Custom badges, specification tables and gift-with-purchase promotions.

Badges (Theme settings › Product cards and badges): sale badge as text, percent or amount off; a New badge for products added in the last few days; and a low-stock warning.
Custom badge: point Custom badge metafield at a text metafield, for example custom.badge, to show your own label on a product.
Gift with purchase: set Gift promo metafield namespace; the theme reads [namespace].promo_gift (the gift text) and [namespace].promo_ends (end date, YYYY-MM-DD) and hides the line after the end date or when the product is sold out.
Specifications: text, number and boolean metafields in your specification namespace (default specs) appear on the product page and in compare. A key_specs text metafield adds a one-line summary to product cards.
Size guide: a rich-text, multi-line text or page-reference metafield (default custom.size_guide) overrides the page or table for that product.
