Getting started

Install Tradeline, pick a style and set your business type.

Add the theme. In Shopify admin go to Online Store › Themes and add Tradeline. It is added unpublished, so you can set it up while your current theme stays live.
Choose a style. Tradeline comes with five styles: Tech, Fashion, Beauty, Home and Services. Each sets colours, fonts, corner radius, header and footer. Pick the closest one; you can change any of it later.
Set your business type. Open Customize › Theme settings › Industry and choose your business type. This changes the add-to-cart wording (for example Book now for services), category icons and a few headings. You can override the button text yourself.
Add your logo and colours. Theme settings › Logo and favicon and Colors. Each of the five colour schemes is checked for readable contrast in our own demos; keep text and background clearly different.
Build your homepage. Add, remove and reorder sections in the editor. Every section has a colour scheme and spacing control.
Check the product page. Open any product in the editor and turn product-page blocks on or off (delivery estimate, pay-later messaging, specifications, size guide and so on).
Preview, then publish. Use the preview on desktop and mobile, then publish when you are happy.
